Sewing workshop at de Steek Amsterdam

Sew Your (First) Tote – No Experience Needed
Always wanted to sew but didn’t know where to start? This one’s for you. In just 3 hours at De Steek, you’ll learn the basics and walk away with your very own handmade tote bag.
In this special Flip edition, you'll use upcycled gems like old curtains, banners, and retro fabrics. Mix and match materials and hemp straps to make it truly yours.
You'll learn:
– How to thread and use a sewing machine
– How to cut fabric
– Straight and zig-zag stitching
– Finishing seams and hems
– Creating clean squared corners
This is your chance to make something cool, useful, and totally unique — all while learning a new skill. Book your spot before it’s gone!
